OREANDA-NEWS. February 07, 2013. Agricultural Bank of China Limited (ABC) recently won the 2012 "Innovative Application Enterprise" Award of the Annual Top Lists of Enterprise IT Application in China for its new human resources information system (e-HR), reported the press-centre of ABC.

ABC e-HR system innovatively adopts a design concept and application architecture that combines application integration and workflow-driven processing that allows sharing among all group management and controls with decision-making services in the HR information field. Moreover, its independently developed workflow matrix model comprehensively covers HR management business at all levels - from Head Office throughout its branches.

ABC's e-HR system is an outcome of combining new management ideas, management methods, and information technology. It serves as a significant tool to propel comprehensive HR reform, promote strategic transformation of HR management, and construct a professional HR operations management system.

Through establishing a basic HR information platform, business management platform, decision-making supporting platform, and self-service platform, ABC exerts management oversight and provides services covering an employee's entire career from selection, employment, training, promotion, and finally to dismissal or retirement.

To date, ABC's e-HR system is operating in 37 branches, achieving bank-wide application of the HR system and personnel data collection. Since going live on August 2012, the system runs stably and plays a critical role in improving ABC’s standardized, streamlined, and increasingly sophisticated HR management.
