PM of Ukraine Checks Prices and Assortment in Kyiv Grocery
OREANDA-NEWS. February 07, 2013. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov personally checked prices and assortment of products in one of Kyiv’s grocery stores in Pechersk area.
“My interest is connected, first of all, with the desire to learn how well the assortment of vegetables, fruit is represented, which is percentage of national products, what is price range and presence of social products, notably bread. In this store I saw everything there is in daily reports. Absolutely all commodity items I am informed about on a regular basis correspond to reality,” Mykola Azarov told.
Moreover, the head of Government talked to customers.
Premier of Ukraine Mykola Azarov added that this day he again had a chance to make sure that approval of law On the domestic trade appeared urgent. “I made certain once again that law On the domestic trade, the need in adoption of which we have discussed recently, is necessary of course, it will enable removing issues that were set by members of the initiative group,” Mykola Azarov underlined.
At the same time the Prime Minister excluded probable decrease of prices just before his arrival: “If my arrival to the shop influenced fall of prices, I would devote half an hour daily and attend the stores”.
