OREANDA-NEWS. February 07, 2013. Top managers of JSC “MOESK”, one of the largest distribution electric grid companies in Russia, have reported on the financial and production totals of the work in 2012 and represented the strategic and investment plans for 2013, reported the press-centre of MOESK.

On 29.01.2013 the heads of JSC “MOESK”: First Deputy Director General Alexander Inozemtsev, Deputy Technical Director for the distribution grids Andrey Miridonov and Director for the perspective development of the grid Alexander Pyatigor spoke at a press conference in information agency “Interfax”.

Financial and production figures
In 2012 the Company created a sound foundation for a long-term growth of the capitalization and consolidated the financial stability. By forecasts of the Company’s specialists, the proceeds for 2012 on RAS is expected at a level of RUR 117,906 mln, gross profit – RUR 25,557 mln, net profit – RUR 17,103 mln. Indicator EBITDA – is RUR 40,9 bln. As of 28.12.2012 the market capitalization of JSC “MOESK” amounted to RUR 73,5 bln.

As First Deputy Director General of MOESK Alexander Inozemtsev emphasized in his speech, the main priorities of the Company’s development in 2013 will remain a “subsequent simplifying of a technological connection procedure to the Company’s electric grids and time reduction for power supply recovery both in Moscow and in Moscow Region”. Besides that, as A. Inozemtsev specified, “in the region of the capital city a stable growth of the electric power consumption is observed, that’s why one of the most important objectives, faced by MOESK in the current year, is an increase of the reserve energy capacities in those districts of the metropolitan city and region, which will develop especially actively in the near future”.

By a forecast of the specialists of JSC “MOESK”, the volume of the electric power productive supply in 2012 increased up to 78,546 mln kWh, which is by 430 mln kWh more than the volume which had been planned for the year. In 2013 a level of the electric power losses under the electric power transportation through the grids of JSC “MOESK” should amount at average of not more than 9,6%. Towards 2016, the Company plans to reduce losses to 8,4%.

Repair program of JSC “MOESK” of 2012 has been fulfilled fully, by 100%, subject to the additionally allocated funds, in the amount of RUR 477 mln, for the repair works performance at the electric grid facilities of Moscow, including in the new districts. In 2013, RUR 4,989 mln. are planned to be directed for the repair and maintenance.

Investment program
Investment program of JSC “MOESK” for 2012 was executed fully:

capital investments were assimilated for RUR 35,647 mln., the plan had been RUR 33,007 mln, which amounts to 108% from the volume planned for 2012;

RUR 38,723 mln were introduced into the fixed assets, the plan had been RUR 37,504 mln, which amounts to 103%;

Volume of the Company’s investment program in 2013 on the capital investments assimilation and financing will increase by almost 37%, in relation to the indicators of 2012.

Technological connection

In 2013 the specialists of the unit for development and sale of the services of JSC “MOESK” expect a number growth of the filed applications and performed contracts on the consumers’ technological connection. For the consumers’ comfort, since the 3d quarter of 2012 MOESK has implemented the program of affordability and transparency of technological connection to the electric grids “Five steps for three visits”, adopted the new standards of the customers servicing and payment calculation for the technological connection.

At the present time 34 Customer Service Centers function in MOESK, where the applications are accepted and contracts are concluded for the technological connection. “In 2013 we plan to open additionally two Centers in Moscow”, - reported Director for the perspective development of the grid of MOESK Alexander Pyatigor at the press conference.

In 2012 the following capacities were introduced:

4,823 MVA of the transformer capacity, which amounts to 104% from the volume planned for 2012 (4,631 MVA);

4,167 km of power transmission lines, which amounts to 100% from the volume planned for 2012 (4,170 km).

Alexander Pyatigor reported also, that in 2012 the Company got more than 46,5 ths. applications for the technological connection of power receivers with the total capacity of about 7,3 ths. megawatt. Also, 36 ths. technological connection contracts with the total capacity of 2,4 megawatt were concluded the last year. “In 2013, JSC “MOESK” is aimed at providing a growth of a reserve of capacities to connect new consumers – at a level of 3,9 ths. megawatt towards the year’s end”, - emphasized he.

Stable power supply provision

In 2013, JSC “MOESK” increase attention to:

Objective on the scheme change of organization of operation, repair and operational maintenance of the electric grid sector, located in the territories of Moscow Region, connected to Moscow.

Placement of the reserve power supply sources with an average time of their delivery to a place of technological disturbance in Moscow – 30 minutes, in Moscow region – 2 hours.

Achievement of an average time of deenergizing of the consumers in 2013: in Moscow – 47 minutes, Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative districts (T&NAD) of Moscow – 2 hours 47 minutes, in Moscow Region – 3 hours 01 minute.

Deputy Technical Director for the distribution grids Andrey Miridonov specified, that for one of the most important arrangements for MOESK on the power supply reliability increase is a reconstruction of power transmission lines on 6-10 kV OL, running across the forestland, to the lines with an insulated conductor (self-supporting insulated conductor). “As of 01.01.2013, 2,303 km lines have been reconstructed; in 2013 we plan to renovate 1,176 km more”. Besides that, carry out quickly the emergency recovery works, the “functions of the field service teams of MOESK will be significantly expanded. The employees will be equipped with the modern communication means and software. It will tell essentially on the speed and quality of power supple recovery”, - emphasized A. Miridonov.

At the present time, the Company’s provision with the mobile power stations (MPS) is over 10 kW, amounts to 129 pcs., including 79 pcs. of the big capacity of over 30 kW, which can be used under emergencies in the region of the capital city. In 2013 they plan to purchase additionally 37 pcs. MPS in Moscow Region and 30 pcs. MPS in Moscow.
