OREANDA-NEWS. February 07, 2013. Indonesian Diplomatic Corps to Ukraine, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Mrs.Ninik Kun Naryati, visited “AutoKrAZ”. The purpose of the visit was to get familiar with the company’s activity and negotiate prospects for cooperation between Kremenchug automobile plant and Indonesian government and business entities, reported the press-centre of AutoKrAZ.   

To date the Indonesian market is considered by “AutoKrAZ” managers as one of the most important markets in Southeast Asia. In 2008, the company won the contract for delivery of the KrAZ trucks for Indonesian National Police. Drop-side trucks for carrying personnel and water, tanker trucks for carrying fuel and potable water, workshop truck have been highly praised by Indonesian peacekeeping personnel in Sudan. At the end of the past year, “AutoKrAZ” entered into agreement with AGT Equipment Pte Ltd, Singapore, for introduction of the KrAZ trucks in the markets of Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar.

During the meeting, the Ambassador could see the products by Ukrainian manufacturer, namely new models, visited main assembly line and training centre.

In her interview given to the company press-service Ninik Kun Naryati said: “Today I have seen the KrAZ trucks for the first time, they are very powerful, and I’m really impressed. I hope Kremenchug trucks to come in the near future to Indonesia for testing in open cast mines and wood cutting areas according to preliminary arrangements. I call KrAZ managers for delivering the trucks and inviting Indonesian government and regional officials and business executives to come to your company. I confirm my intention to continue the policy of my predecessor in encouraging establishment of relationship between PJSC “AutoKrAZ” and Indonesian companies for the promotion of the KrAZ trucks in the Indonesian market. KrAZ success in Indonesia will be my success, too.

Prospects for cooperation with KrAZ are very bright: infrastructure development project known as Corridor 6 is currently deployed, aimed at the development of mining industry and I am particularly interested in KrAZ participation in these programs.

KrAZ’s potential is huge: the products are of particular interest for Indonesian market as its model range includes necessary specialty vehicles able to meet needs of mining, building and forest industries. Moreover, specialty KrAZ trucks are well suited for emergency response on Indonesian islands, where natural disasters are not rare”.
