OREANDA-NEWS. February 04, 2013. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has instructed Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin to establish the causes of the failed launch of the Morskoy Start (“Sea Launch”) project and to review compliance with Russian space-industry law during the preparation and execution of the launch.

Federal Space Agency head Vladimir Popovkin has been instructed to duly organise the investigation into the launch failure and to report by February 15 on the findings, as well as on the necessary conclusions and proposals, including with respect to the liability of officials and organisations.
