MOESK Reports on New Life of Substation Bronnitsy
OREANDA-NEWS. February 01, 2013. Power engineers of branch of JSC “MOESK” – Southern Electric Grids are reconstructing 110 kV substation (SS) “Bronnitsy” in Ramensky district of Moscow Region, reported the press-centre of MOESK.
Last year in the course of the first stage of the works, a transformer with the capacity of 25 MVA was substituted by a more powerful one (40 MVA). ±±In 2013 a dismantling of the second transformer with the capacity of 25 MVA will be made, whereupon a construction of a new oil receiver and an installation of a transformer with the capacity of 40 MVA are planned.
As a result, the total capacity of the substation will get a high addition, which will create a power reserve for safe carrying out of repair works and technological connection of new consumers. In particular, the reconstruction will make it possible to connect about 1,000 of electric power consumers on a social norm.±±110 kV substation “Bronnitsy”, which was put into operation in 1978, provides power supply of Bronnitsy, of population aggregates adjoining the town, industrial and trading companies located in them.
The reconstruction will make it possible to eliminate a major problem of the substation’s overload, which will tell positively on the power supply quality and reliability of the consumers of Ramensky district of Moscow region.
