New Managing Directors Appointed at Perm Companies of UEC
OREANDA-NEWS. January 31, 2013. Vladislav Masalov, CEO of OJSC "Managing Company "United Engine Building Corporation" presented company's new managing director to the heads of divisions and shop managers of OJSC "Perm Engine Company". New Managing Director became Sergey Popov, formerly - Head of OJSC "STAR". His former position at OJSC "STAR" will be taken up by Sergey Ostapenko, company's chief designer.
Boards of directors of two Perm companies - OJSC "PMZ" and OJSC "STAR", included into United Engine Building Corporation, adopted a resolution on making changes in companies' management. Sergey Popov was appointed new Managing Director of OJSC "PMZ".
Sergey Popov was born in 1969 in the city of Rybinsk. In 1992 he graduated from Rybinsk Aviation Technical Institute with an "Engineer, mechanic and process engineer of aircraft engines" degree, in 2002 he graduated from Moscow State University of Management with a "Personnel management" degree. From 1993 till 2003 he had been working at OJSC "RPA "Saturn", where he had risen from mechanic to Production and Resources Deputy Technical Director - Chief Designer. From 2003 till 2005 he was in the position of Production Deputy Technical Director - Chief Designer, later - Executive Director of "Lyulka Scientific and Technical Center" branch. From 2005 till 2008 he was in the position of HR-Director of OJSC "RPA "Saturn". From January 2008 till July 2009 he was the head of OJSC "Perm Aggregate Association "Inkar". After that he returned to OJSC "RPA "Saturn" to the position of the company's Commercial Director. From January 2012 he had been the Managing Director of OJSC "STAR".
Sergey Ostapenko was appointed to the position of OJSC "STAR" Managing Director.
Sergey Ostapenko was born in 1972. In 1995 he graduated from Perm Polytechnic Institute with an "Aircraft instruments and measuring and computing complexes" degree. His career was developing at one company - Perm Aggregate design bureau (nowadays - OJSC "STAR"), where he started in 1993 as a programming engineer and in January 2012 he was appointed to the position of company's Chief Designer.
Personnel changes are related to the creating of "Engines for civil aviation" division within UEC, comprising of RPA "Saturn", "PMZ" and "Aviadvigatel".
