OREANDA-NEWS. January 30, 2013. In 2012, "AvtoKrAZ" shipped to consumers on 18% less of vehicles than in 2011. 

 In the total number of vehicles 66% was shipped to CIS countries, 11% - in Ukraine, 23% - other countries. The greatest number of vehicles - 548 units - was delivered to Russia. More than half of the shipped cars to Russian consumers made chassis, quarter - tractors, others - logging equipment and airborne vehicles.

 In 3.8 times - up to 57 vehicles, compared to the previous year, increased the delivery to Turkmenistan, on the level of the previous year remained supplies to Kazakhstan - 38 cars, resumed sales in Georgia - 18 units.

 Last year, the company increased production of various products supplied, in particular the production of grinding balls for the mining industry increased by 4 times to 46.6 million UAH. Total production of spare parts and other products was 87.2 mln. UAH, which is 4.5% less than in 2011.

 Despite the reduction in output, in 2012 the efforts of "AvtoKrAZ" were aimed at expanding the model range of the produced cars, certification of a new family of KrAZ vehicles with a layout "cab over engine" and an integral plastic hood, improving the quality of mass-produced cars.

 As reported this year the plant will continue to reduce production costs, improve its efficiency and quality of production, and it is also planned to increase the production program to 2,400 cars.
