OREANDA-NEWS. January 30, 2013. Moscow United Electric Grid Company has completed the renovation of feeding center “Ogudnevo” in Schelkovsky district of Moscow Region.

Reconstruction stipulated a substitution of the existing transformer # 2 with the capacity of 4 ths. kVA by new one, with the capacity of 10 ths. kVA. All the works were carried out by a contractor organization, were started in December of 2011 and completed within the established terms.

Necessity of the reconstruction is caused by the fact that the substation which had been constructed as early as in the 60s of the last century didn't conform to the consumers’ requirements. The capacity increase by almost 2,5 times gives a possibility to provide reliably the consumers with electric power even in terms of technological disturbances.

It’s important, because the substation’s subscribers are medium-sized and small industrial enterprises of Schelkovsky district, social sphere institutions, household consumers of neighboring population aggregates Petrovskoye, Ogudnevo, as well as numerous facilities of the large villa construction near villages Maliye Petrischi, Protasovo and Petrovskoye. Over 4 ths. people live in the specified population aggregates.

Reconstruction of substation “Ogudnevo” has increased a power supply reliability of the consumers and established a necessary capacity reserve for a subsequent development of Schelkovsky district’s territory.
