OREANDA-NEWS. January 29, 2013. Joint Venture of JSC SOLLERS and Mitsui & Co (SOLLERS-BUSSAN) launched pilot assembly of Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. Igor Shuvalov, Russia’s 1st Deputy Prime Minister, visited the new production plant in Vladivostok. Serial production of vehicles will start in February this year.

JV SOLLERS-BUSSAN with share ratio of SOLLERS and Mitsui & Co - 50%/50% will assembly vehicles with technical support of Totyota Motor. At the first stage the JV plan is to produce around 1000 units per month. Scheduled project capacity of the production is 25 000 vehicles a year. This project will provide Russian customers and especially inhabitants of the Far East with more efficient and prompt supply of Toyota vehicles.
