Siempelkamp Receives Order from Uvadrev-Holding
OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2013. Siempelkamp Maschinen- und Anlagenbau received the order for a complete particleboard plant from the Russian board manufacturer Uvadrev-Holding. The centerpiece of the plant at the Uva location, approx. 1,200 km to the east of Moscow, is a 6’ x 30.4 m ContiRoll®. The comprehensive scope of supply is not the only outstanding feature of this order, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.
With an estimated 500,000 cubic metres per year, the new plant will more than double the yearly capacity at the Uva location. With the new continuous production line, the company will strengthen its position within the fast growing particleboard market in due time. Siempelkamp supplies every component of the modern particleboard line, from the log yard to the sanding line. The scope of supply includes chippers, silos, flakers, a 27.5 t/h particle dryer as well as screens, separators, and the blending system.
The Generation 8 ContiRoll® will be able to manufacture flexible board sizes (1,830 mm x 2,440 to 2,750 mm). The innovative pressure distribution plate concept inside the press not only provides for a high-quality product but also for material savings of up to 15%. A complete finishing line and comprehensive automation including SicoScan and the proven production management system ProdIQ® add the finishing touch to the concept.
The foundation work for Uvadrev started on December 28, 2012. Assembly is scheduled to start in fall of 2013.
