OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2013. SORAINEN Latvia has successfully represented several Chinese private individuals in real estate acquisition deals and in their subsequent obtaining of temporary residence permits in Latvia, reported the press-centre of SORAINEN.

Temporary residence permits have become a popular way of attraction foreign investment into the Latvian real estate sector.

In 2012, 2,435 overseas nationals (including 118 Chinese) requested temporary Latvian residence permits based on total investments of EUR 206.6 million in the real estate sector. SORAINEN Latvia has assisted clients in all stages of the real estate acquisitions and in the obtaining of temporary residence permits, which has included the negotiation of transaction documents between the parties concerned and communication with various authorities.

The cases have been handled by partner Girts Ruda, senior associate Lelde Lavina, associate Lasma Rugate and legal assistant Natalija Sestakova.
