OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2013. Ukraine International Airlines are deeply indignant with innuendoes, gossips and outright lies about UIA ownership structural changes and other supposedly occurring airline’s events disseminated by the media, reported the press-centre of UIA.

UIA states numerous publications, lately edited in the media, contain substantial proportion of fabrication and misinformation about UIA, its ownership structure, structural changes and other events supposedly occurring in UIA.

Being well aware of the fact their information is not based on facts, false information disseminators and their numerous forwarders conceal lies by referring to the so-called “deep throats’ from experts, UIA partners, the company's personnel and even UIA management.

Responding to such insinuations the airline’s management states none of UIA top managers provided the media with any facts or comments that would induce them to draw an inference about the airline’s structural changes, as well as to give a false color to such events.

As UIA previously stated in its press release of December 22, 2012, the airline is owned by private companies – Capital Investment Project and Ontobet Promotions Limited, whose details are available in National Securities and Stock Market Commission information disclosure system. Due to the fact the restated PJSC Ukraine International Airlines charter was adopted, the Supervisory Board membership was cut up to 4 members. No other Supervisory Board membership changes occurred.

UIA management remains sustainable. The new managers` inflow is driven by the airline’s natural dynamic development and is by no means related to any circumstances other than management team reinforcement subsequent to aviation market developing situation, as well as new challenges and tasks the airline faces.

UIA Press Office functions normally. Its details are well-known to the media being provided with an opportunity to first-hand receive credible and reliable information that is open to the public, does not contain business secrets, and is not classified as confidential. Receiving such information electronically is an option.
