OREANDA-NEWS. January 24, 2013. Due to the joint efforts of Anhui Huadong Polytechnic Institute (AHPTI) and Hefei University of Technology (HUT), a Wuhu-based national engineering laboratory specialized in display technology was built and passed the acceptance check on January 19.

Up to over 750 million yuan has been injected into the lab since its establishement was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission in July. With a research staff of more than 70 regular members, including 21 doctors, the lab established 4 development platforms, overcame 10 technical difficuties and obtained a number of remarkable achievements which were successfully applied to many national key projects.
