Belarusian Krinitsa Brewery Reports 6% Decline in Beer Output in 2012
OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2013. Belarus’ OJSC Krinitsa produced 14.476 million decaliters of beer in 2012, down 6% on the year, a representative in food concern Belgospischeprom told.
In December alone Krinitsa’s beer output declined by 19.7% on the year to 1.077 million decalitres.
Beer output in plastic bottles went up 11.3% on the year to 11.698 million decaliters. Krinitsa beer output in glass bottles reduced 50.8% to 936,900 decaliters, in kegs went up 9.8% to 1.701 decaliters. Beer output in aluminium cans totalled 140,000 decaliters (up 36.7%).
Krinitsa’s sales on the home market in 2012 amounted to 9.406 million decaliters, down 14.4% on the year.
Krinitsa’s beer exports in 2012 grew 12.7% on the year to 4.527 million dal.
Krinitsa was founded in January 2001. OJSC Polotsk Beer and Nesvizh soft drinks plant have been incorporated by OJSC Krinitsa and operate as subsidiaries.
