OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2013. Prototypes of container flat cars produced by OJSC Ruzkhimmash (key asset of RKTM holding of Russian Machines Corporation) were presented in the exhibition hall of Rizhsky Railwy Station organized by JSC Russian Railways.

Valentin Galanovich, Senior Vice President of JSC Russian Railway, Sergey Poryadin, Deputy General Director for Technical Development - Chief Engineer of JSC FGK, Valery Larin, Managing Director of OJSC Ruzkhimmash, Vyacheslav Mishin, Development Director of OJSC Ruzkhimmash participated in the event.

Flat-cars for containers are developed under a trilateral agreement signed by JSC Russian Railways, CJSC Evrosib-SPB Transport Systems and LLCInnovationalRailcarBuilding. According to the results of the tender OJSC Ruzkhimmash became a manufacturer of new railway equipment for Russiaand OJSC FGK is a customer. Russian Government controls implementation of the project.

Prototypes of flat cars produced by Ruzkhimmash were delivered to the customer on December 7 for performance tests. Participants of presentation noted that flat cars were developed and manufactured in a short timeframe and meet all required quality requirements.

In the future new platforms will be operated in two corridors: Finland-Russia and Europe-Belarus-Russia-Kazakhstan.
