OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2013. In 2012 ABH Miratorg remained the indisputable leader among Russian pork and feed stuff producers. The total amount of realized holding investments was more than 90 billion rubles. Number of jobs created by ABH Miratorg exceeded 13 000.?

Crop growing

In 2012 the total amount of the grain crops harvested by ABH "Miratorg" was 297 thousand tons, which is 30% higher than in 2011 (228 thousand tons). Besides, 421 thousand tons of non-grain crops (hay, silage, haylage) were harvested in 2012 , which is 3.5 times the amount of feed stuff harvested in 2011 (123 thousand tons).

In 2012 Holding’s cultivated area increased by 101 thousand hectares, and made 316 thousand hectares, 47%more than in 2011 (216 ha).

Feedstuff production

In 2012 the ABH Miratorg's total volume of feedstuff production composed 768.85 thousand tons, which is 80.7% more than in 2011 (425.5 thousand tons). In 2013 in Bryansk region there is planned the commissioning of the fourth feedmill plant with an elevator with a production capacity of 360 thousand tons of feed stuff per year. The estimated production capacity of 4 feedmill plants will be 1.46 million tons per year. The total amount of one-time storage makes 575 tons. The planned volume of feedstuff production for 2013 is 1.12 million tons which will fully allow to provide feed stuff for 2.7 million pigs on holding’s pig complexes, as well as 9 million birds on poultry farms of ABH Miratorg. Today the company is the biggest Russian feedstuff producer.

Pork production

Holding’s volume of pork production in 2012 amounted 280.2 thousand tons in live weight, that is 65% more than in 2011 (170.2 thousand tons). Production growth is the result of the increased efficiency of pig complexes, bigger pig production capacities, as well as the launch of industrial sites in Kursk region.

Breeding sows livestock (reproductive herd) in 2012 amounted 121 thousand animals, 34% more than in 2011 (90 thousand animals).

The business plan for 2013 is 363.2 thousand tonnes in live weight, 83 million tons more than in 2012, and by 193 thousand tons more than in 2011. Production growth will be achieved by reaching full production capacity of pig complexes commissioned in 2012, and also due to greater capacity figures. In 2013, the stocking and commissioning of four closed cycle pig compexes are planned in Kursk region.

Meat processing

The production volume of ABH Miratorg’s meat processing enterprise JSC Pig Complex Korocha (Belgorod region) in 2012 amounted 182 thousand tons, which is 42% more than in 2011 (128 thousand tons). Production growth is the result of the increased supply of animals from ABH Miratorg own complexes and the completion of the modernization of the main slaughter line of the JSC Pig Complex Korocha.

Distribution

In 2012, ABH Miratorg continued its strategy of import substitution. The share of sales of own production through holding retailers amounted 214 thousand tons. Total sales amount of holding retailers in 12 months of 2012 was 366 thousand tons.

Beef project execution

Today within the framework of the execution of ABH Miratorg beef production project in Bryansk region the construction of 24 farms for cattle breeding is completed, 20 of them are stocked with Aberdeen Angus cattle from Australia and the U.S., and the total amount of cattle is over 70 000 heads (whereof 4200 are calves born at Bryansk Miratorg farms in spring-autumn 2012). Miratorg plans to complete construction and stocking of 27 farms during 2013, and to achieve the amount of breeding stock of 120 thousand by the end of the year.

Three Miratorg cattle breeding farms were commissioned in Ozersk district near Kaliningrad, and the total volume of the breeding stock composes 12 thousand animals.

Poultry project execution

Currently, ABH Miratorg is building seven broiler chicken farms, and modern meat processing complex, hatchery, feed mill plant and elevator in Vygonichi district of Bryansk region.

In Trubchevsk district of Bryansk region 10 of the 12 planned poultry sites are now being constructed.

Two breeders sites are planned to be constructed in 2013.

Production of semi-finished products

In 2012, the restoration of the industrial Complex Miratorg West Ltd, located in Kaliningrad region was successfully completed. Today it is the country's largest export-oriented enterprise for production of finished and semi-finished products, unique in terms of organization of production processes, standards, sanitary and hygienic safety and applied technologies in Russia .

Its production capacity amounts 60 thousand tons per year.

Development of the corporate chain

In 2012 ABH Miratorg started the realization of the project of the corporate chain with similar name. In 2012 there were opened 25 supermarkets in Moscow and Moscow region, as well as in Vladimir, Tula and Rostov regions and Chuvashia.

The development of own retail network gives the holding complete control of the trademark products sales, and the ability to offer them to customers at reasonable prices and in accordance with ABH Miratorg high quality standards, eliminating the potential risk to lose it .

Miratorg plans to open about 300 new stores in 2013.
