OREANDA-NEWS.  January 24, 2013. Ukraine lays foundation for economic, political and humanitarian development under modern principles. It was stated by President Yanukovych at the solemn meeting on the occasion of Unity and Liberty Day.

The Head of State noted that the majority of reforms apply to economic sphere. First and foremost, these reforms provide for the creation of a favorable business climate, active policy of import substitution, increased energy efficiency and enhanced energy security. “It is the development of real economy, entrepreneurship, innovations, production and technological upgrade. It is the protection of our interests at the traditional foreign markets and the search for the new ones,” Viktor Yanukovych said.

“We are building a model that would ensure state immunity to any external economic crises,” Viktor Yanukovych emphasized adding that the basis for state transformations was the pragmatic approach in foreign policy, efficient system of national security and strong economy aimed at the improvement of life standards.
