OREANDA-NEWS.  January 24, 2013. The 16th Arbitration Appeal Court upheld the judgment of Dagestan Arbitration Court, which had confirmed legitimacy of 100,000 Rubles fine imposed by the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) upon “Dagestan Airlines” OJSC.

On 23rd July 2012, Deputy Head if FAS Anatoly Golomolzin fined “Dagestan Airlines” OJSC 100,000 Rubles for failure to report to the Antimonopoly Service in the sources of publishing information about regulated activities of the company, specifying the print media and (or) the official web-site address.

The company filed a lawsuit to Dagestan Arbitration Court, which dismissed the claim and confirmed legitimacy of the fine imposed upon the air carrier.

“Dagestan Airlines” OJSC appealed the judgment to the 16th Arbitration Appeal Court, which on 16th January also dismissed the company’s claim.

“Dagestan Airlines” OJSC violated the information disclosure standards, so the company was held administratively liable. The 16th Arbitration Appeal Court, as well as Dagestan Arbitration Court, passed reasonable and lawful judicial acts on the case”, the Head of Dagestan OFAS Russia, Kurban Kubasaev commented the ruling.
