PM of Ukraine Thanked for Prompt Solving Problems Raised on Facebook
OREANDA-NEWS. January 23, 2013. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov is thanked for the prompt resolution of issues with which people address to the Prime Minister through the social network Facebook.
In particular, passengers of AeroSvit, which managed to return home from Prague, expressed the gratitude Mykola Azarov. It should be noted that the situation with regard to AeroSvit managed to resolve, particularly thanks to Prime Minister’s interference, who instructed relevant departments to take action. "I would like to thank you, Mr. Azarov, the fact that the state took over the problem of private company AeroSvit and thus my friends were able to return from Prague to Ukraine" - written by Oleksandr Borzenko in social networks.
In addition, the Government continues to consistently perform social initiatives of the President aimed at improving people's lives. In particular, a lot of work had been done in the area of pensions. Thus, in 2012 pensions were raised several times, and finally, the size increased by an average of 10%. Along with this was the so-called modernizing of pensions - recalculation of pensions was held. Children and grandchildren of those who received a pension increase, thank the Prime Minister.
Citizens also expressed gratitude Mykola Azarov for interference in resolving the issue that arose with wages arrears and delays of payment of social benefits. In particular, he addressed the people asking him to provide concrete evidence of violations of human rights. In addition, on behalf of the Prime Minister the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine conducts daily monitoring of the payment of social benefits in all regions of Ukraine. Guilty in delaying payments incurred personal liability, up to dismissal. So, grateful Halyna Atamanenko from Kyiv wrote Mykola Azarov: "Thank you very much; I received payment for a child! It was nice to receive a call and they asked if I had got the money! Once again thank you".
No less excitement in the community was called due to entering medicine for migraine in the list of drugs that led to the unavailability of effective medicines from severe headache. Patients with migraine appealed to the Prime Minister on this issue. The government immediately settled the situation: the Cabinet amended the list of prohibited for free sale in pharmacies, which allowed pharmacies to sell these drugs. Officials, which are formally reacted to the problem, punished. "Dear Mr. Azarov. Thank you on behalf of those who suffer from migraine and their relatives, for quickly resolving the situation", appealed to the Prime Minister another Facebook’s user Vasyl Druzyak.
A resident of Uman (Cherkasy Region) is grateful to Mykola Azarov for improving her living conditions, as she could not make renovations due to the lack of funds. Hearing of it, the Prime Minister has instructed local authorities to repair the roof of women’s dwelling and to install the phone.
Returning to school a medical examination of pupils also evoked a wide response. Parents are especially grateful to the Prime Minister for the decision of the Government to restore preventive medical examination of pupils directly in schools. After all, they just launch the initiative during the All-Ukrainian parental internet meeting. In turn, Mykola Azarov thanked everyone for their support of the Government's actions on increasing attention to the children's health.
The Prime Minister also received gratitude for intervention in the aftermath regarding adverse weather conditions in some regions of the country, for helping in the emergency response in residential building in Lutsk, for solving the problems with vaccines for patients with hemophilia and others. "Thank you that you hear our problems and cares about them. I think that our people address to you, maybe with some minor problems, but the fact that they are not heard in regions", Alla Sebova wrote Mykola Azarov on Facebook.
Prime Minister firmly believes that it is through dialogue between authorities and citizens we unable to timely detect serious problems and solve them quickly. In his view, effective work of each Ministry and the Cabinet as a whole begins from effective dialogue with people.
It should be noted that the Prime Minister personally weekly communicates with users of social network Facebook and also meets with representatives of NGOs to discuss issues of public policy.
