OREANDA-NEWS. January 22, 2013. FAW Group Corporation announced recently that Xu Xianping was appointed as deputy secretary of FAW Group CPC Standing Committee by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), reported the press-centre of FAW.

Xu Xianping, born in Jilin province in Sep 1964, started to work in Jul 1989. He graduated from Mechanical Engineering Department of Dalian Institute of Technology and Enterprise Reorganization Department of MSM Holland. He was given the degree and title of MBA and senior engineer when he finished school at MSM and worked at FAW.

Xu Xianping has been working in FAW Group for years. He once assumed the responsibilities of workshop head, deputy manager of FAW Carburetor Plant, person resposible for the JV program between FAW Group and Kazakhstan, Parts Supplying Deptartment manager of FAW Group, Procurement Deptartment manager of FAW Group, general manager of Tianjin FAW Xiali Automobile Co., Ltd., general manager of FAW Jiefang Truck Co. Ltd., president assistant of FAW Group and vice president of FAW Group.

At present Xu Xianping holds the positions of the president, member of BOD, and deputy secretary of CPC Standing Committee of FAW Group.
