OREANDA-NEWS. January 22, 2013. The previous lowest average interest rate on loans extended in MDL was recorded in September, 2012 and made up 12.58%, NBM informs. In December, 2012 the average interest rate on loans in MDL declined 0.7 p.p. as compared with the previous month.

In particular, in December, 2012 Moldova saw the decrease of the average interest rate on loans extended in MDL to legal entities by 0.4 p.p. from 12.18% to 11.65%, and the decline of the average interest rate on loans extended in MDL to individuals by 0.82 p.p. from 14.72% to 13.9%. The highest interest rate in December was that on loans extended for 6 to 12 month to individuals and made up 16.44%.

The highest interest rate among rates for legal entities and individuals was that on loans extended for up to 1 month. It equalled to 14.16%, making 14.34% and 12.75% for legal entities and individuals respectively. The lowest interest rate was that on loans extended in MDL for over 5 years to legal entities and made up 10.05%.

The lowest interest rate among rates for legal entities and individuals was that on loans extended for over 5 years too. It equalled to 10.85%, making 10.05% and 11.37% for legal entities and individuals respectively.
