OREANDA-NEWS. On January 23 a Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Boyko and the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Ihor Prasolov will hold talks with the EU Commissioner for Trade Karel De Gucht in terms of reconsidering of tariff obligations of Ukraine within the frames of the World Trade Organization. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov duirng his meeting with foreign inevstors.

“On the 23 of January we will have talks of a Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Boyko and the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Ihor Prasolov with the EU Commissioner for Trade Karel de Gukht concerning these issues. I think we will find compromise and move in this direction,” Mykola Azarov expalined. 

He reminded that in compliance with the WTO rules Ukraine, after 3 years of participation in this organization, had sent an application concerning considering of 370 trade positions.
