OREANDA-NEWS.  January 21, 2013. ICBC has been named "2012 Golden Custodian Bank" at the recent "2012 Third China Golden Top 10 Ranking" hosted by Financial Money in collaboration with Beijing Golden Wealth Research Institute, reported the press-centre of ICBC. 

The award evaluation process uses a comprehensive methodology that involves the evaluation on the strength of different categories of financial institutions from various dimensions (wealth management, product innovation, business development, market feedback), extensive research using third-party data, online voting from different parties, on-site interviews and screening by experts. The award demonstrates the public recognition of ICBC's excellence in custody services. Having a good reputation in the field, ICBC received 35 international and domestic awards for its custody services as of today.

In 2012, ICBC scored new breakthrough in custody services in terms of scale and efficiency. The Bank embraced innovation on products and services by getting an accurate picture on the market changes, despite the challenging economic conditions in China and overseas.
