OREANDA-NEWS. January 17, 2013. OJSC "Perm Engine Company" Customer Support Department summarized the results of November-December 2012.

During the last two months of 2012 specialists of Customer Support Department (CSD) of OJSC "PMZ" have executed works on restoring flight worthiness of PS-90A aircraft engines of different modifications under operation conditions at airlines home base. Thus, at site of "Vladivostok Avia" airline (city of Vladivostok) the cleaning of LPC rotor blades was performed. At five PS-90A engines of the planes operated at "Red Wings" and "Aeroflot" airlines and at FSBI SAD "Russia" of Presidential Property Management Department replacement of fan blades damaged as a result of ingestion was performed. Performance parameters of all engines are brought into conformity with requirements, their operation is prolonged. Currently at "Volga-Dnepr" airline (city of Ulyanovsk) works on restoration of flight worthiness of PS-90А-76 engine having blade burn-out are proceeding to completion. 

As to after-sales support of industrial gas turbine engines manufactured by OJSC "Perm Engine Company", at LLC "Gasprom transgas Ukhta" works on improving performance characteristics of PS-90GP-25 engine for GTU-25P plant of "Babaevskaya-2" compressor station were executed. Modification enabled to eliminate engine oiling and smoking and to reduce oil consumption. Also, in November CSD specialists eliminated prescheduled removal of PS-90GP-2 engine operating as part of GPA-16P "Ural" gas-compressor unit at "Kamensk-Shakhtinskaya" compressor station. Engine being 7881 hours in operation at that moment needed compressor blades to be cleaned - after this procedure engine was admitted to further operation.

Mounting of GTU-16P plant of 16 MW capacity has started at LLC "SK Rusvietpetro". It is the first of three plants which will be operating as part of GTES-36 gas turbine power station intended for electric power generation for Khoreyverskoye oil and gas field located above the Arctic Circle.
