OREANDA-NEWS. January 17, 2013. PrivatBank introduced a mobile software application SendMoney, that allows you to send money to any card account in Ukraine and even all over the world using only its 16-digit number. Using this application you can create templates and also make payments even without Internet-connection (in such case the application automatically switches to using the SMS-commands). Besides, you can control the application using voice commands.

"Certainly, the service of transferring money to the card account is available in our main software app Privat24," - says Dmitry Dubilet, PrivatBank Marketing Director. - "This service is used so often that it is worth developing its separate software application. Once, we had separated it to an independent app we got free hands for implementing new various features such as templates or voice commands. After all it would be hard to get them all into Privat24 app anyway”.

Sending money all over the world using the 16-digit card number regardless of the payment system is quite a new service. So far it is available just in few banks in Ukraine and in the world as well. The bankers state that sending money today is as easy as sending an SMS.

“Maybe the voice control is not the most popular, but it is certainly the most amusing option of the application,” - says Dmitry Dubilet. - “You can say “Send mother 100 hryvnias” and the application proceeds it. For speech recognition the special Google’s voice search tool is used. Between ourselves we call the female voice of the Google application “Ira”. I bet you easily understand the analogy”.

Also you can create templates in the app. If you wish, you can specify the recipient’s photo for every template. When started up the application will offer a user to create templates for the recipients of most of his transfers for the last three months.

You can download the app for free at Google Play or App Store. According to the developers, the voice recognition technology is still waiting for Apple company approval.
