OREANDA-NEWS. January 17, 2013. PrivatBank has updated its top application Privat24-smart for Android that is now available to card holders of any Ukrainian or foreign bank. The updated payment app has a range of new options including both the mobile account topping up and contactless cash withdrawals from ATMs and ability to use it offline.

"The updated Privat24-smart is a transition from classical remote banking transaction model to a functional and universal everyday assistant for clients," - said Alexander Vityaz, PrivatBank Deputy Chairman. - "Yesterday we told our clients: you can make the telephone and utilities payments, transfer money, make deposits etc., but today we say: you can manage your funds and... a petrol pump at a gas station, an ATM, pay bills at a cafe, pay for online shopping... i.e. Privat24-smart now has got virtual hands".

According to the service developers the Privat24-smart will soon have not only hands, but also ears and eyes, so follow the application updates in January.

"On the one hand, the new P24-smart involves the virtualized and optimized payment tools, and on the other hand the digitized tools enter into the real world. I realize this seems a little bit complicated," - laughs Alexander Vityaz, PrivatBank Deputy Chairman. - "but in the real life it’s pretty simple: you just press the certain button and get the result. It is magic, that is the clients’ verdict :-)"

The application Privat24-smart is available for free download at Google Play. Today over 700 thousand customers use PrivatBank’s mobile payment applications Privat24 and about 2 thousand new connections are registered at the bank daily. As at December 1st, the total number of clints in Privat24 was 3 million people. The system users make 300 thousand transactions per day with the average transaction amount about UAH400.
