OREANDA-NEWS. January 17, 2013. The income of the State Fiscal Inspectorate (SFS) to the national public budget increased by 19.4 per cent in 2012, against 2011.

According to the SFS, the increase was caused by decisive measures "that were taken in the fiscal administration sector and firm actions meant to combat tax evasion and corruption in the fiscal system".

Thus, the SFS's income to the public budget amounted to 19 billion 28.1 million lei until 31 December 2012, which makes 100.3 per cent against the forecast level and three billion lei more against 2011. The state budget collected fiscal incomes amounting to 5 billion 995.3 million lei, whereas the budgets of administrative-territorial units collected 4 billion 180.9 million lei. The income of the budget of state social insurances amounted to 7 billion 126.2 million lei. The income of the mandatory health insurance funds amounted to 1 billion 725.6 million lei.

The budget of administrative-territorial units (39.2 per cent) and the state budget (25.0 per cent) registered the highest increase in their fiscal incomes against 2011.
