OREANDA-NEWS. January 16, 2013. From this year a main way of solving housing problems of military employees will become transparent sale of surplus military property through auctions with a target allocation of the received funds for building of accommodation.

This was announced by the Defense Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Lebedev in the course of getting familiarized with the state of affairs of Commandment of the Land Forces.

He also informed that 80% of accommodation which is to come to the Defense Ministry will be distributed as a service housing for acting military officers and 20%- as constant accommodation objects for the rest of categories of citizens who stay in a queue for housing.
