OREANDA-NEWS. January 16, 2013. The Yanbu’ NGL Fractionation Department (YNGLFD) recently hosted the Power Technical Exchange Forum along with an exhibition for Yanbu’ Area, reported the press-centre of Saudi Aramco.

Under the theme “Face the Challenge: Power for the Globe,” the forum was composed of 11 technical presentations in various topics related to the field of electric power. Twelve vendors and suppliers participated in the forum exhibition, presenting their latest technologies and services, sharing best practices on electric energy issues and discussing advancements in methodology and cutting-edge technologies.

The forum focused on several important issues in the power generation field, including cogeneration technology and application, smart grid technologies, asset management for electric power systems and many others.

More than 200 participants from various Saudi Aramco organizations and other industrial and educational organizations attended the event.

YNGLFD leaders said they were proud to be the initiators of such a forum in the Yanbu’ area and foresee many similar forums and conferences to follow in the coming years.
