Algerian Officials Inspect Water Collecting Pipeline Project in Salah
OREANDA-NEWS. January 16, 2013. An official delegation of Algeria conducted an inspection visit to the jobsite of Water Collecting Pipeline Project contracted by China 20MCC Construction Group Ltd. (20MCC Group) in In Salah, reported the press-centre of MCC.
The delegation was headed by Mr. Hocine Necib, Minister of Water Resources. The escorted officials included: Governor Meziane Said of Tamanrasset Province; three directors respectively from the Drinking Water Dept, Sewage Dept. and Dam Dept.; as well as seven directors of the relevant centers of the Ministry of Water Resources.
Accompanied by the Project Manager, the delegation members inspected the pool (with a volume of 50,000 cubic meters) and learned in details the project implementation progress.
A press conference was convened after the inspection tour. At the meeting, Mr. Hocine Necib placed a high premium on the perfect performance of 20MCC Group during the project execution in terms of both quality and efficiency.
He gave full recognition on the implementation quality and progress, and extended gratitude to all the project staff of 20MCC Group. The Minister also expected the Project Division to accelerate the execution of the works, so as to enable the people of Tamanrasset Province to have drinking water with a better quality and realize the commitment made the President of Algeria.
At the conclusion, Mr. Hocine Necib wished to carry out further collaboration with MCC on a wider basis in the follow-up water resources works.
