OREANDA-NEWS. January 15, 2013. ITERA, with the organizational assistance by the Government of Moscow, the Moscow Patriarch's Office and Charity Fund of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation invited 3 500 children from needy families, children's homes and orphan asylums, as well as their parents and teachers to a Golden Nut, a New Year performance in the Moscow state circus in Vernadsky Avenue in Moscow. Sweet gifts from ITERA were presented to all small spectators after the event.

It is for the 15th time that ITERA organized a New Year celebration for kids from children's homes and children whose parents were wounded or died when performing their military duty. It is a fifteen years-long tradition for ITERA. Children from over 70 organizations of various parts of the capital city, the Moscow suburbs, Bryansk, Ryazan, Tula, Pskov, Tver, Vladimir, Kaluga, Smolensk and Yaroslavl Regions come to Moscow to attend the New Year celebrations. All together, over 40 thousand children have visited New Year performances organized with the ITERA involvement since 1997.

Alexander Chistyakov, Chairman of the PR Committee of the Government of Moscow, in his letter of acknowledgement to Igor Makarov, head of ITERA, pointed out: “Your active position in relation to the younger generation is a worthy example of the "socially responsible business” which is just beginning to develop in our country”.

“There are hundreds of thousands of children deprived of parental care and families in our country. The majority of them are social orphans. We feel happy that it has been for fifteen years now that ITERA has been presenting those kids with the New Year miracle. The motto of our company is to bring warmth to people. It is very important that it acquires literal meaning at such moments. All of us should remember that there are no alien children there. ITERA, being a socially responsible company, will continue to provide assistance to those who needs it most”, - Vyacheslav Nazarov, Chairman of ITERA Charity and Sponsorship Council, pointed out.
