OREANDA-NEWS. January 15, 2013. Belarusian producer prices increased 1.4% on the month in November 2012, and 19.8% in January-November 2012.

In January-November production facilities prices went up 25.5%, intermediate materials prices went up 15.2%, and consumer goods prices increased 25.3%, according to the National Statistics Committee.

The largest increase in prices in January-November 2012 was in the mining industry – up 30.3% and processing industries – up 22.8%, while electric energy, gas and water production and distribution prices increased 3.5%.

In the processing industry, production of foodstuffs including beverages and tobacco goods 32.2%, machine and equipment production prices grew 31%, woodworking 23%, non metallic mineral products (including cement) – 21.9%, textiles 18.4%, chemicals 18.4%, production of coke, oil products and nuclear materials – 17.9%, cellulose and paper production and printing industry 17.8%, vehicle production 15.5%, electric, electronic goods and optics – 14.3%; rubber and plastic goods production 11.4%, metallurgy and hardware production 9.6%. Other industry branches saw a 13.3% increase in prices.

Freight tariffs increased 41.7% in January-November 2012. Automobile freight tariffs went up 47.7%, railroad freight tariffs went up 23.9%, air transport tariffs went up 0.5%, and pipeline tariffs rose 80%. Producer prices rose 149.6% on the year in 2011 following a rise of 13.6% on the year in 2010.
