OREANDA-NEWS. January 15, 2013. Transaero Airlines has summed up its preliminary operational results for the peak New Year holiday period. The airline performed 2,400 flights on 141 routes. It carried more than 395,000 passengers, which is a 23% increase against the previous New Year period. These figures mark a new benchmark in the history of the airline.

For the first time Transaero operated its services from as many as 19 cities in Russia, including Moscow and St.Petersburg. Moreover, the airline performed flights from three Moscow international airports, i.e. Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo.

Transaero’s passengers got an opportunity to explore three more leisure destinations. The airline launched a new Moscow- Jamaica service, and added one more Dominican city – Puerto Plato and a Thai resort Krabi to its flight network.
