Ministry of Infrastructure: Passengers of AeroSvit Return Home
OREANDA-NEWS. January 15, 2013. According to the State Aviation Service of Ukraine, AeroSvit and UIA organized return to Ukraine of passengers from foreign airports, including Bangkok, Tel Aviv and Baku. 989 Ukrainians have already returned to Ukraine.
In particular AeroSvit secured transportation of all 194 passengers from Bangkok. Airline Ukraine International Airlines delivered from Tel Aviv 40 people, which were awaiting departure.
Also UIA today voyage 100 passengers, who could not yesterday departure from Baku by flight of the AeroSvit Company.
In addition the situation of the carrying out of internal flights including involving other airlines is stabilized.
It has been organized the control of appeals. According to AeroSvit, those passengers who will contact the company will either get back money or there will be secured transportation. As of today the situation is stabilized.
Recall, this week, vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Vilkul developed proposals for necessary measures to stabilize the situation according air transportation.
According to the results of the meeting held by vice Prime Minister with participation of the Ministry of Infrastructure and the State Aviation Service, AeroSvit guaranteed to provide flights by its own aircraft and aircraft of other airlines for all passengers who have purchased tickets or refund for tickets purchased pursuant to current Passenger and luggage carriage rules.
For development of domestic aviation operations the Ministry of Infrastructure has to develop a strategy of aviation industry.
