OREANDA-NEWS. January 15, 2013. The process of connecting of entrepreneurs using cash-machines to “an electronic cash tape” has begun which is a system of transmission of data about cash operations to servers of the tax service.

It should be reminded that from January 1, 2013 in Ukraine legislative norms came in force and introduce distant monitoring of cash operations. A new service was tested in a pilot regime in the end of 2012 and is operating in a regular mode nowadays.

Entrepreneurs have an opportunity to provide reports in an electronic form to the tax service server by means of either purchase of new cash equipment or connecting to already installed equipment respective modems for data transmission.

At this, probability of illegal access to the provided information is minimal. Registers of cash operations must, in compliance with the requirements, be equipped with a security module of the National system of electronic payments (NSEP) – a specialized device in the form of a card and a hardware that secures data from intrusion. Approximate cost of the security module of the NSEP which is to be realized by the NBU makes UAH 80.

To maintain operation of the system of storing and collection of data will be made determined by the National Bank of Ukraine an information acquirer – an organization that is to provide technical and information support.

On the estimation of specialists of the Ministry of Incomes and Fees, such a format of monitoring of cash operations will significantly shorten tax audit of entrepreneurs – users of cash machines as all divergences between the provided reports and primary documentation will be revealed distantly and ahead.

Business has half a year for adaptation to the new requirements – in the first half-year of 2013 there won’t be used any penalties for non-providing such documents in an e-form.

In general a register of the State Tax Service of Ukraine comprises 152 thousand economy subjects who registered 280 thousand registers of cash operations.

It should be mentioned that with the Decree of the President of Ukraine №726/2012 of 24.12.2012 the Ministry of Incomes and Fees of Ukraine was set up by reorganization of the State Tax Service of Ukraine and the State Customs Service of Ukraine with acquiring by the new Ministry responsibilities in administration of the single social fee for the compulsory state social insurance.
