OREANDA-NEWS. January 15, 2013. No.1345 Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation “On Introducing Amendments to the Regulations on the Federal Antimonopoly Service” of 20th December 2012 came into force on 1st January 2013, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

FAS devised No.1345 Decree to adjust the scope of powers specified in the Regulations on the Federal Antimonopoly Service in accordance with the powers established in No.40-FZ Federal Law “On Mandatory Civil Liability Insurance of Vehicle Owners” of 25th April 2002 and No.67-FZ Federal Law “On Mandatory Civil Liability Insurance of the Carrier for Inflicting Harm to Life, Health, Property of Passengers and on the Procedures for Compensating Such Harm Inflicted by Passenger Carriage by the Metro” of 14th June 2012.

The Decree add new powers to FAS Russia: FAS shall be coordinating and approving the rules (standards) of professional activities of professional insurers associations in the cases specified by the law of the Russian Federation.
