OREANDA-NEWS. January 14, 2013. In 2012 Moldova allotted to payments of current membership fees and repayments of debts to international organizations 48 mln. Leis.
The same sum was allotted last year. In 2012, Moldova met in full its liabilities to international institutions, Deputy Minister of Finance Victor Barbaneagra said sitting of the government. At their sitting Cabinet ministers amended the resolution of the government regarding payments of membership fees and debts to international institutions and specified sums of the payments, adjusting them to currency exchange rates on a day of payments.

According to the Ministry of Finance, in 2012 the biggest amounts of money were allotted to pay membership fees to the Council of Europe-329.9 thou. euros (5,1 mln. leis); the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the member of the World Bank) - 5 mln. leis, the World Health Organization – USD 362,75 thou. (4.36 mln. leis), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development – USD 335.9 thou. (4.08 mln. leis); the Danube Commission – 146.6 thou. euros (2.2 mln. leis), Moldova’s office of the CIS Intergovernmental TV and Radio Company “MIR” – 2.2 mln. leis; CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly – 4.97 mln. rubles (1.97 mln. leis); the World Labour Organization – SwF 140.6 thou. (1.838 mln. leis), UNESCO – 1.835 mln. leis and UN FAO- USD 124.6 thou. (1,53 mln. leis).
