Terra Impex Invests EUR 2 mn in Construction of Plant in Moldova
OREANDA-NEWS. January 14, 2013. Terra Impex, a Romanian company, invests 2 mln. euros in construction of the plant producing polymer and glass fibre construction netting in FEZ of Vulcanesti.
According to the Ministry of Economy, the first batch of the finished production has been already manufactured at the plant. Within 6 months on greenfield site industrial and water cleaning facilities, artesian well were constructed, power transformers were installed and approach ways were laid.
The construction and equipment of the plant and was invested in 2 million euro. At the plant 150 inhabitants of Vulcanesit and villages of the region of Cahul are working in three shifts. Working at its full capacity, the plant will be able to produce finished goods at a sum of at least 100 mln. leis a year. If the investment project is of success, the investor is going to double its capacities.
The production of the new plant is in great demand on the market of building materials in many countries, including Moldova. To date, most of the production has been exported to the EU.
