OREANDA-NEWS. January 11, 2013. Tver Car-building Plant (TVZ, belonging to ZAO Transmashholding Group) has obtained Ecological Compliance Certificates for passenger coaches produced by the Plant, Holding Department of External Relations reported.

The whole range of passenger coaches: compartment coaches, head-quarter coaches, third-class sleepers and bar cars, as well as train set coaches, double-deckers, international sleepers and escort cars, have been certified with the Ecological Compliance Certificates.

The above Certificates have been issued by “ECO-Bezopasnost” certification authority of FGUP VNIIZT Rospotrebnadzora. In the course of certification all kinds of TVER coaches performances were inspected, like: noise produced by the moving train, lack of pollutant emission to atmosphere and underground water, comfort conditions inside coaches both for passengers and servicing staff and many other parameters.

The Certificates acknowledge that the passenger coaches produced by TVZ do not cause damage to the environment and fully comply with environmental laws of the Russian Federation.

Tver Car-building Plant is the first enterprise in Russia, which railway rolling stock was certified with the Ecological Compliance Certificates.
