The President of the Russian Federation greeted builders of ESPO-2 with termination of the project and noticed that putting into operation of the second part of the pipeline will give to the Russian Federation a possibility to effectively operate at the fast developing market of the countries of the Asia-Pacific Region. “This work is finished, and I want to greet all the builders, engineers, all those people who were related to the building”, V. Putin reported in his speech at the press conference. He compared this project with the building of Baikal-Amur Mainline Railway. “It gives us an opportunity to effectively work at such a fast developing international market, at the market of the Asia-Pacific Region”, the President said.
