OREANDA-NEWS. January 10, 2013. A solemn event of charity donation to the State-owned Public Health Care Institution of Sverdlovsk Region "Specialized Children's Home" was held in the office premises of CJSC "Uralsevergaz", a shareholding by the Government of Sverdlovsk Region and ITERA Oil and Gas Company, LLC. In the course of the charity event organized within the framework of ITERA’s 20-th anniversary with the slogan “We Bring Warmth to People!”, Gennady Skidanov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of ITERA Oil and Gas Company, LLC, donated to little children on behalf of the Company warm children's clothes and shoes, calorifiers and heaters, warmth-keeping carpeting and medicines.

The State-owned Public Health Care Institution "Specialized Children's Home" comprises all children's homes, which are nine in Sverdlovsk Region and in which around 500 children aged from one month to four years reside today. ITERA, awarded with “The Best Social Projects of Russia” prize in the year of its 20-th anniversary, provides regular charity donations to children of vulnerable social categories of the Region. The previous event had been organized in Yekaterinburg in March of this year: within the “Illustrated Books for Small Blind Children” Program, blind and visually impaired children of the Region had been given unique books, taking into account their visual and tactile perception peculiarities.

“Our slogan is "We Bring Warmth to People!", and since 1999, ITERA has been supplying gas and, consequently, heat to Sverdlovsk Region continuously. In these cold winter days, let me on behalf of ITERA and its leader, Igor Makarov, pass the warm clothing to the youngest residents of the Region so that they could feel warm. In its activities, ITERA sets the high level of social responsibility that requires to continue providing assistance to those who need it to the uttermost, i.e. socially unprotected people,” – said Gennady Skidanov.

In his response, Aleksey Efremov, Head Physician of the State-owned Public Health Care Institution “Specialized Children's Home”, noted: “Helping children is never superfluous, and we always appreciate it. I would like to sincerely thank ITERA Management and employees who are willing to help our kids”.
