OREANDA-NEWS. January 9, 2013. The Tangshan Modern Equipment Manufacturing Industry Zone, planned for the city of Tangshan, Hebei province, got approval recently as a provincial industrial zone, and was re-christened the Tangshan Kaiping High-tech Industrial Development Zone.

The new High-tech Industrial Development Zone has a planned-area of 19.28 square kilometers and will focus on the advanced equipment and manufacturing business and modern services, by bringing older traditional industries up-to-date development through the use of new technologies and by supporting the bio-technology field.
