OREANDA-NEWS. January 9, 2013. Uralkali (LSE: URKA), one of the world’s largest potash producers, has received Recommendations for Nondiscriminatory Access to Purchasing Potash from the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS), valid from 1 January 2013 till 31 December 2017. Uralkali has been recommended to set the price for potassium chloride (KCl) for all consumers not exceeding the minimum export price. FAS has also set a transition period for agricultural producers from 1 January 2013 till 1 July 2013 and recommended to provide a 30% discount for this group of consumers during this period.

According to the Recommendations provided by FAS, Uralkali announces prices for Russian consumers in Q1 2013.

The price for compound fertiliser (NPK) producers will amount to RUB 10,252 per tonne (95% KCl). The NPK producers buying over 30,000 tonnes of KCl per annum and having concluded contract for three years or longer will get a discount of USD 27 per tonne for all volumes purchased during the year. The price for industrial consumers will be RUB 10,252 per tonne of 95% KCl and RUB 10,552 per tonne of 98% KCl. The maximum declared price for direct KCl deliveries to Russian agricultural producers will be RUB 7,176 per tonne.
