Inflow of Foreign Investments to Moldova Decreased 28,5%
OREANDA-NEWS. January 09, 2013. According to the National Bank of Moldova, the outflow made up USD 162.15 mln., USD 55.53 mln. (52.1%) up.
The net inflow of direct foreign investments into economy of Moldova made up USD 58.47 mln. in 9 months of 2012, nearly 3.5 times as compared with USD 202,15 mln. registered in the same period of 2011.
The decline in the investments happened on the background of the new wave of the economic crisis. According to NBM, in Q3, 2012 the net inflow of foreign investments in the national economy made up USD 28.03 mln., 2.4 times down as compared with USD 66.26 mln. registered in the same period of 2011.
In particular, the inflow of foreign investments amounted to USD 92.07 mln. in Q3, the outflow being USD 64.04 mln. In the same period of the past year the inflow of foreign investments amounted to USD 104.67 mln.,the outflow being USD 38.41 mln.
