Over Half of State Budgets of Various Levels Approved in Ukraine
OREANDA-NEWS. January 09, 2013. Endorsement of local budgets of all levels for 2013 the terms of approval of which were determined by the Budget Code of Ukraine is being in process. The Ministry of Finance implements daily monitoring of the state of approving of the local budgets for 2013.
As of January 2, 2013 7848 local budgets of various levels have been approved, or 99.0% of the total amount.
Out of 692 local budgets, that have direct interbudget relations with the state budget and the final term of approving of which is December 31, 2012 (inclusively), there have been approved 685 local budgets or 99.0%, including:
- the budget of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, all regional budgets (except the regional budget of Ternopil region) and the budget of Sevastopol;
- 176 (99.4%) local budgets of cities of (republican) regional significance;
- 484 (99.2%) district budgets.
By the date of January 2, 2013 there haven’t been endorsed 7 of such budgets that appear violations of requirements of the Budget Code of Ukraine, including 2 budgets in Ivano-Frankivsk region, 3 – in Lviv region, regional budget of Ternopil region and the budget of Kyiv city.
Town (towns of district significance) and village budgets are to be approved not later than in a two-week’s term from the day of approving of the appropriate town (town of regional importance) or district budget.
According to the schedules of approving of such budgets the overwhelming majority of them are planned to endorse by January 12, 2013.
By January 2 budgets of all levels in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kyiv, Poltava regions and Sevastopol city have been endorsed.
In addition, as of today, 7163 budgets of local self-government (district budgets of towns, local ones of towns of district importance, village ones) have been approved which forms 62.9% of the total amount.
The biggest number of budgets has been approved in Sumy (99.8%) and Kherson regions (94.6%). Only 0.4% - in Lviv, 4.6% - in Ternopil, 19.6% - in Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
