OREANDA-NEWS. January 07, 2013. PM Expert, a member of Armada Group (MICEX-RTS: ARMD), expands the geography of holding international masterclasses and invites to take part in the exclusive training “Management of Projects for New Products Development. Examples from the Automobile Industry” in the Netherlands on May 21-23, 2013, reported the press-centre of Armada Group.   

The masterclass will be held in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. On one of the days the masterclass will take place in Lelystad, in the head office of Donkervoort specializing in sport car production. Owners, directors and heads of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) companies and engineering and production centers, design bureaus and specialized industry research institutes are invited to take part in the event.

The heads of western companies, such as Truls Thorstensen, President of EFS, Joop Donkervoort, the owner of Donkervoort Automobielen B.V., J?rg Ohlsen, Managing Director of EDAG, as well as Russian specialists in the sphere of project management from PM Expert –    Alexander Kutuzov, Managing Director, and Alexander Pavlov, Managing Partner, will take part in the masterclass as experts.

The following issues will be considered in the course of the masterclass:

management of the project for new automobile product development consisting of 7 main technological stages;

criteria of success for passing main technological stages (Quality Gates);

recommendations for the use of project management methods from the “Project Definition” till “Withdrawal from Production”;

integration of project management processes and product development processes based on the examples of leading European car manufacturers;

automobile product content management through specifications (Spec book).

Besides a test drive of Donkervoort sport cars is planned as a part of masterclass, which will allow the participants to understand and to experience the performance of cars and to compare their impressions of driving the cars of three different classes: a sport racing car, an off-road vehicle and a street vehicle.
