OREANDA-NEWS. January 3, 2013. The legal department of JSC “MOESK” became a winner in nomination “Electric-power industry” of international competition "The best legal departments", organized by monthly magazine "Corporate lawyer" and international concern Wolters Kluwer. The awarding ceremony took place in Moscow.

108 departments took part in the prestigious competition by 24 nominations, such as "investment banks", "aeronautical engineering" etc.

The legal department of JSC “MOESK” achieved the victory in nomination “Electric-power industry”. Among the winners – there are the largest companies of the oil and gas, financial, investment sectors, as well as the companies, working in the field of Telecommunication and IT: "Gazprom neft’", Sberbank-AST, MTS.

By the organizers’ words, the competition is aimed at a prestige increasing of a legal profession, it’s held in order to promote to the public recognition of the business achievement of the corporate legal services, the best practices distribution of their work organizing and legal risks management, an incorporation of the professional association and the total level increase of significance and status of a legal profession.
