OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2012. Subsidiary enterprise of JSC “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” - JSC "Plant on repair of electrical machinery" (RETO) has set a course for the production renovation and profit increase. SAA (subsidiaries and affiliates) have implemented a whole series of measures lately, aimed at renewing of the equipment and increasing of the activities’ efficiency.

Renewal process is taking place at a stationary site, where repair and recovery of a wire of a transformer’s windings is made. The plant bought a new coil winding machine with the cost of RUR 2,5 mln., having substituted its obsolete worn out analogue.

- use of the new equipment has increased the technological opportunities as to the windings manufacture for the active part of the repaired transformers, - says head of production of JSC “Plant RETO” Vadim Kozychev. - From now forth we plan to substitute one more machine, used in a shop floor of the transformers repair.

Recently the enterprise has started to develop a trend of activities which is new for it: the reconstruction of the substation equipment. A project group is created, whose objectives are elaboration of the reconstruction projects of 35-110 kV substations.

Besides that, the plant has started creating a site for the construction and installation works as to the substations reconstruction. The staff of the installation crews has been by two times increased for such works production. Now the crews are reconstructing substations “Shakhovskaya” and “Kubinka” of branch of JSC “MOESK” – Western Electric Grids. A rotating substitution of the transformers has also been made at substations “Bronnitsy” and “Sitnya” of branch of JSC “MOESK” – Southern Electric Grids.

- Taking into account the fact that in view of the technological equipment wear of the substations, a complex reconstruction with the transformers substitution – is a highly sought service, - explains the Director General of JSC “Plant RETO” Vyacheslav Chucharin, - we consider the given trend of activity to be very perspective and plan from now forth to concentrate the fundamental forces on it.
