OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2012. Within the framework of action “Honest kilowatt” the power engineers of JSC “MOESK” held 113 raids in the fact revealing of electric power thievery, for the period from the 22nd to the 28th of the current year.

According to the data of the administration of electric power accounting of JSC “MOESK”, the work result for the last week became drawing up of 57 acts for the sum of RUR 8,4 mln kWh on the non-accounted consumption and 139 acts – on the non-contractual consumption. Thereby, a volume of the revealed non-contractual consumption amounted to 6 mln kWh. Among the acts drawn up earlier by the violators, 85 acts were paid for the sum of RUR 1,4 mln kWh and the total sum of about RUR 6 mln.

Since the year beginning 3,175 acts have been drawn up for the non-accounted consumption for 172,36 mln kWh, in November – 220 acts for 24 mln kWh. Besides that, in November the payment was effected of 301 acts drawn up earlier for the sum of RUR 19,7 mln. 5,937 acts for 112 mln kWh have been drawn up since the year beginning, on the non-contractual consumption.

By order of head of JSC “MOESK” Pyotr Sinyutin, Kashirsky, Klinsky and Zaraysky distribution zones are got under a special control, where the activities per extinction of the unlawful energy consumption will be reinforced.

Let us recall, that the main goal of action “Honest kilowatt” – is rather warning, than punishment. In the course of the raids the power engineers pay the population’s attention to consequences of the unauthorized use of electric power. An unskilled connection to the grids results in a quality reduction of power supply, voltage drops in the grid, damage of appliances and creation of fire hazardous situations.
